Job summary

Stored Energy Systems (SENS) in Longmont, CO, is seeking a Business Process Improvement Analyst to document as-is and to-be states, analyze data flows, and improve systems to support internal development efforts.

The role reports to the Director of Business Process Excellence and collaborates with sales, operations, HR, IT, and engineering to translate business needs into clear requirements and user stories. This is an onsite opportunity with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in business analysis or systems analysis.
• 3+ years of experience in process improvement.
• Experience documenting processes using BPMN or a similar method.
• Strong understanding of data flows and system interactions.
• Experience working with engineering, product, sales, operations, and other business unit teams.
• Strong experience in process mapping in Visio and depicting steps and responsibilities in swim lanes.

Responsibilities

• Map and document current-state business processes.
• Identify inefficiencies, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop future-state process designs.
• Document data flows across systems, integrations, and teams.
• Translate business processes into functional requirements and user stories.
• Collaborate with business users to gather and validate requirements.
• Facilitate workshops to produce artifacts from user requirements and workflows.
• Support system design, testing, and implementation.
