The role coaches business leaders on sustainability claims and policy implications, manages cross-functional projects, and partners with Marketing, Sales, Technology, and Legal teams to achieve outcomes while ensuring compliance and credibility of

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, sustainability, environmental science, public policy, engineering, chemistry, or related field with progressive experience in sustainability marketing or related commercial discipline.
• Demonstrated knowledge of sustainability topics relevant to Aventa: compostability, biodegradability, circularity, bio-based materials, life-cycle thinking; experience in related markets preferred.
• Proven ability to translate insights into growth strategies, value propositions, segmentation, pricing support, and measurable outcomes.
• Demonstrated success leading cross-functional initiatives from strategy to execution with Marketing, Sales, Technology, Product Stewardship, Legal, Compliance, Sustainability, Government Affairs, and Advocacy teams.
• Strong communication and coaching skills to influence senior executives and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Execute strategy for market-facing initiatives that strengthen Aventa’s sustainability value proposition.
• Coach business leaders on sustainability topics and policy implications.
• Lead sustainability initiative projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute initiatives in the external market.
• Maximize Aventa’s sustainability value proposition through cross-functional collaboration and effective communication.
• Identify certifications to support credibility behind Eastman sustainability claims and maintain compliance.
