We are seeking an experienced Sustainability Manager to lead the execution of a comprehensive sustainability strategy, ensuring alignment with the company’s goals. This role will oversee the implementation of sustainability initiatives across all business units and departments within the company in the United States.

This position will report to the General Counsel, Risk, and Sustainability Officer for North America and will be a key-contributor in the global Sustainability team and support the work to advance our sustainability efforts and focus areas as ONE Securitas.
This is hybrid position, requiring at least 3 days per week on-site at Securitas Security Services USA, Inc.’s office in Parsippany, NJ.
Primary Responsibilities Include
- Driving the execution of Securitas’ sustainability strategy in the division.
- Collaborating with commercial teams to integrate sustainability into our value proposition and market our sustainability efforts to clients.
- Working closely with the sustainability reporting collectors to ensure that (i) sound reporting standards and processes are in place, (ii) data quality is high, and (iii) data is analyzed and used in decision making and to follow-up on strategy execution.
- Ensuring relevant stakeholders in the division have sufficient information to be able to comply with relevant sustainability regulations, guidelines and industry standards.
- Conducting risk-based compliance oversight/assurance.
- Staying up to date about future trends, market requirements, regulations, and best practices and proactively recommend solutions.
- Providing tactical execution of the division’s sustainability goals working with a variety of internal stakeholders, including finance, human resources, procurement, legal and business operations.
- Coordinating with relevant departments to integrate sustainability considerations into operational practices.
- Ensuring roadmaps and action plans are in place in the business units and central functions aligned with the global sustainability strategy. This work should be driven with a clear commercial mindset aligned with the overall business strategy and with a focus on providing value to the business and clients.
- Establishing structures and processes to follow up on the execution of roadmaps and action plans and report on status to divisional management and group management.
- Being the first point of contact for client and supplier facing teams in relation to sustainability questions or requirements in RFPs or sustainability partnerships. Work with commercial teams to market Securitas’ sustainability efforts with clients.
- Finding effective solutions together with the business and central functions to make a social impact and reduce our carbon footprint, decrease energy consumption and reduce waste.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, sustainability, business administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sustainability management, environmental consulting or a related field.
- Strong understanding of sustainability principles, environmental regulations, and industry best practices, including the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive.
- Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Excellent analytical skills to interpret data and generate meaningful insights.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and reporting software.
Benefits
Depending on experience, Securitas will offer a starting salary of $110k to $120k annually, in addition to a full benefit package that includes:
