Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Construction Project Manager for its Sustainability Infrastructure Building - Solutions & Technologies team. You will oversee retrofit projects, manage schedules, budgets, and change orders, and lead safety programs while building strong client and subcontractor relationships.

Responsibilities include cost estimation, forecasting, monthly financial reporting, and ensuring projects meet scope, timeline, and profitability targets across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or Architecture or equivalent work-related experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years of direct project management experience in Building Construction.
• Experience with HVAC, Controls/BAS, Lighting, and Renewable Energy systems is desired.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to convey technical material to non-technical audiences.
• Willingness and ability to travel as required by projects.

Responsibilities

• Self-performs cost estimating, scheduling, and construction management of assigned projects.
• Manage the profitable execution of assigned projects.
• Ensure projects are done on time, within budget, and within contract scope.
• Maintain profitability and positive cash flow for projects.
• Develop and maintain customer and subcontractor relationships.
