Job summary

Wesco is seeking a Sustainability Manager in Lewisville, TX, to lead key programs within the company’s sustainability initiatives. You will guide data collection for GHG inventories, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and support external reporting to rating platforms and third parties.

The role focuses on implementing sustainability practices across Operations, Sales, and Category Management, with opportunities to influence training, product catalog development, and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred in environmental sustainability, economics, or related field.
• Certificates in GRI Sustainability Certification, ESG and/or CDP climate reporting.
• 4 years of corporate sustainability program experience or equivalent mix of education/experience.
• 2+ years SASB and TCFD reporting experience.
• 2+ years of using Microsoft Forms, Power BI, Power Automate; proficient with Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of ISSB and CSRD sustainability frameworks preferred.
• Ability to interact with all management levels and build cross-team relationships.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to coordinate projects.
• Knowledge of emissions data collection and data governance.
• ISO-14001 and USGBC LEED knowledge preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Lead key sustainability programs across functions to achieve organizational goals.
• Oversee data collection for GHG inventory and ensure accuracy.
• Report to rating platforms and support third-party reporting.
• Contribute to annual sustainability reporting development.
• Develop data management plans for sustainability metrics.
• Develop and manage green/sustainable product catalog.
• Design and implement sustainability training for varied audiences.
• Research climate, water, biodiversity investment opportunities and advise leadership.
• Lead the employee sustainability group.
• Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and scorecards tracking progress.
