Job summary

STACK Infrastructure in Denver seeks a Director of Sustainability within the Innovation & Engineering organization to translate corporate commitments into sustainable design and construction standards and lead project-by-project implementation across data centers.

The role partners with Global Sustainability, drives net-zero progression, and oversees life cycle assessments, ensuring auditable, scalable execution and alignment with broader targets and reporting needs.

Qualifications

• Experience leading sustainability programs across real estate, construction, or engineering teams.
• Ability to translate corporate sustainability commitments into actionable design/construction standards.
• Strong written and oral communication to present to executives.

Responsibilities

• Embed sustainability requirements in design baselines, specs, and contracting materials.
• Manage implementation of sustainability standards across active design/construction projects.
• Track costs of sustainability initiatives and support decarbonization decisions.
• Own end-to-end Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) workflow for in-flight projects.
• Translate LCA results into actionable insights for project teams.
• Collaborate with leadership to integrate sustainable initiatives into plans and budgets.
