Morningstar Credit Ratings, LLC is seeking a Sustainability Data & Insights Analyst to own the collection and integrity of core sustainability data and turn that data into actionable insights. You’ll maintain SOPs, track client demand signals, and support sales enablement while translating data into strategic recommendations.

Ideal candidates have 3–6 years in sustainability/ESG, strong data analysis skills, and the ability to communicate complex insights to investors and leadership.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in sustainability/ESG, data analysis, marketing/communications analytics, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience building or maintaining SOPs, documentation, or process governance.
• Comfort working across disparate data sources and synthesizing them into a coherent narrative.
• Strong written communication skills for materials read by sales teams, investors, and leadership.
• High attention to detail balanced with ability to see broader trends.

Responsibilities

• Data collection, SOPs and governance: document and publish SOPs for core team processes and maintain a central repository.
• Assist in the annual sustainability data pull and approval process for CS reporting and compliance.
• Serve as a point of contact for data partners and owners across the business, tracking requests and handoffs.
• Track client demand signals and support sales enablement with trend analyses by region, product, and account.
• Synthesize data across collection, demand, investor analysis, and brand engagement to identify trends and inform strategy.
