Job summary

ECOS, a women-led climate-positive company, seeks a Sustainability Specialist to advance plant-powered cleanliness initiatives and TRUE/LEED certifications across divisions. Lead data collection, reporting, and audits while partnering with operations to reduce waste and improve resource use.

You will develop dashboards, manage databases, and coordinate certifications with internal teams and external auditors. Excellent Excel skills and ESG mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Sustainability or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in sustainability or related functions.
• Experience supporting TRUE Zero Waste and LEED certification programs.
• TRUE Advisor and/or LEED Green Associate credential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage sustainability databases and record-keeping of waste streams, energy use, and water consumption.
• Analyze performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders and leadership.
• Support TRUE Zero Waste and LEED O+M certifications and recertifications.
• Coordinate audits and compliance documentation for certifications.
• Perform on-site sustainability audits and communicate findings to teams.
• Identify waste diversion opportunities with local partners and suppliers.
• Collaborate with operations to quantify waste and costs for reduction initiatives.
