Job summary

Villanova University in Malvern is seeking a Graduate Assistant-Sustainability Fellow to assist the Office for Sustainability in planning the international conference. You will manage logistics, marketing, communications, and data collection, analysis, and reporting.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Sustainable Engineering or higher, 1-2 years in conference planning and data work, and strong Excel/MATLAB/PowerPoint skills. Hours per week: 15–35. Open until filled.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Sustainable Engineering required.
• 1-2 years’ conference planning experience.
• 1-2 years’ data collection, processing, and analysis in engineering.
• Experience with SDGs and Villanova metrics.
• Strong Excel, MATLAB, and PowerPoint skills.

Responsibilities

• Be the external marketing and communications point for the conference.
• Plan, organize and delegate tasks; compile data for sustainability reports.
• Support campus sustainability events.
• Research sustainable technologies for Villanova campus.
• Identify new metrics for tracking.
• Develop and assist with new sustainability initiatives.
