Qualifications

• Experience in corporate sustainability/ESG reporting, climate consulting, or management consulting with interest in ESG and climate issues.
• Understanding of ESG and climate accounting, management, and disclosure standards and regulatory frameworks (e.g., SASB, TCFD, IFRS, GRESB, ISO 14064, CDP, SBTi, EU Taxonomy, SFDR, CA SB 253/261, EU CSRD).
• Experience with ESG ratings providers and assessments (ISS, MSCI, Sustainalytics, CDP, S&P Global CSA, GRESB).
• Knowledge of the GHG Protocol and related standards (Scope 2, Product, Scope 3).
• Ability to implement sustainability, ESG, SBTi, and net zero initiatives, with interest in ESG data management.
• Strong analytical, technical, and database management skills.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
• Strong writing and editing abilities.
• Advanced PowerPoint and Excel; Power Query/Power BI/SQL/Python a plus.
• Background in statistics, data modeling, or business analytics a plus.
• Familiarity with AI tools and prompt engineering a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with strong prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end development of clients' annual sustainability and ESG reports with cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate quantitative data collection, ESG initiatives surveys, and GHG accounting/verification.
• Lead end-to-end Science Based Targets workstreams from baseline to forecasting and SBTi submission.
• Assess climate-related risks, including physical and transition risks.
• Research climate policies and industry practices to inform client deliverables.
• Analyze climate data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Prepare presentations, reports, workbooks, and client deliverables.
• Support stakeholder interviews to gather ESG performance data.
• Contribute to business development, thought leadership, and internal initiatives.
