GYOTAKU JAPANESE RESTAURANT is hiring a Sushi Maker in Honolulu, Hawaii. This role offers part-time or full-time hours with morning and evening shifts, $16–$24 per hour plus tips, and opportunities to grow with a busy, customer-focused kitchen.

You will prepare rice and ingredients, roll and assemble dishes, maintain cleanliness, and collaborate with the team to ensure smooth service. No strict experience required, training provided, and pre-employment screenings apply.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Sushi Maker or similar role preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sushi rice and ingredients for sushi rolls.
• Roll, shape, and assemble sushi dishes according to recipes.
