Job summary

The Henry in Plano is hiring immediately for a Sushi Cook to join our offsite kitchen team. This part-time role involves preparing food from scratch, following recipes, and maintaining high standards in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year high-volume restaurant experience, good communication, and the physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds. Weekend availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food from scratch following recipes to ensure consistency.
• Cook a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables using broilers, ovens, grills, fryers and other kitchen equipment.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards.
• Work calmly and effectively in a high-volume environment.
• Availability to work weekends and some holidays.
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure smooth operation of the restaurant.
