Job summary

Bamboo Sushi is opening in Kirkland, Washington in 2026 and seeking a Sushi Chef to join the opening kitchen team. You’ll work closely with both kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure thoughtful, timely sushi production, while upholding our standards of quality and hospitality.

You’ll progress through sushi stations as you develop skills, from prep to guest interaction, with opportunities for growth, competitive pay, and a supportive, inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in a high-volume or guest-facing food service.
• Sushi Chefs: 1-2 years of culinary experience or formal culinary education.
• Commitment to food safety and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sushi and related items with high quality and consistency.
• Progress through sushi stations: Roll Case, Front Case, Wheel.
• Collaborate with BOH and FOH teams to ensure timely service.
• Maintain clean, organized and efficient workstation.
