Times Supermarkets Hawaii is seeking a Seafood Counter Associate to cut, prep and display quality seafood products while delivering standard customer service. You will weigh, price and portion products, maintain sushi prep areas, and ensure cleanliness and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, handling knives safely, preparing sushi items from recipes, stocking displays, and assisting with other duties as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 to operate machinery.
• Possesses a food handling license.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers when within ten feet and four seconds of contact.
• Services customer orders, weighs out and prices products.
• Pulls items to be cut and prepped for the day from the freezer.
• Cuts filets, chunks, and cubes per company standards.
• Trays, wraps, and prices products per company standards.
• Stocks and rotates sushi items, to maintain freshness and quality.
• Prepares seafood if working at the Seafood Counter.
• Displays merchandise on showcase per schematic.
• Prepares sushi and other sushi products from recipes.
• Completes basic cleaning of department, by washing and sanitizing work tools and area.
• Keeps sushi chill organized and clean, bale boxes.
• Performs other related duties as needed as assigned by manager.
