Job summary

Fishbeck, a 100% employee-owned firm, is seeking a Surveyor to join our Survey team. You will support topographic mapping, construction staking, and boundary/control surveying using conventional equipment, robotic total stations, and GPS.

You’ll read plans, record measurements, perform boundary research, and process data for boundary, topographic, right-of-way, and as-built surveys in AutoCAD Civil 3D. Associate degree required; 3+ years experience preferred.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Surveying or Civil Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of related surveying experience.
  • Ability to work independently on project sites while complying with safety requirements.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as a team member.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Outdoor work capability and physical requirements (lift up to 50 lbs., standing, kneeling, etc.).

Job description

Working with our Survey team, you will support topographic mapping, construction staking, and boundary/control surveying using conventional survey equipment, robotic total stations, and GPS.

What You’ll Do

  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, lift up to 50 lbs., walk or stand for extended periods, and perform tasks requiring bending, kneeling, and climbing. Good vision, hand-eye coordination, and spatial awareness are essential.
