GulfSea Services in Los Angeles is seeking a Surveyor Assistant to join our field team. You will support licensed surveyors in data collection, drafting maps and reports, and ensuring precise measurements.

The ideal candidate has prior field experience, strong math skills, and proficiency with GPS, total stations, laser levels, and AutoCAD. This is a part-time, on-site role with urgent start.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; related surveying education preferred.
• Prior experience as a Surveyor Assistant is required.
• Strong knowledge of surveying techniques and equipment.
• Good mathematical skills for accurate calculations.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD or similar mapping software.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

We are a surveying company based in Los Angeles seeking a skilled and experienced Surveyor Assistant to join our team As a Surveyor Assistant you will work closely with our team of surveyors to assist in the collection and analysis of data related to land surveys The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the field and possess strong attention to detail excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and execution of land surveys under the supervision of a licensed surveyor
• Use specialized equipment such as GPS total stations and laser levels to collect accurate data
• Record data and measurements in digital or paper format
• Assist in drafting maps plans and reports based on collected data
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure efficient completion of projects

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent post-secondary education in surveying or a related field is preferred
• Prior experience as a Surveyor Assistant is required
• Excellent knowledge of surveying techniques and equipment
• Strong mathematical skills for accurate measurement calculations
• Proficiency in using computer software for data recording and mapping eg AutoCAD
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions for extended periods of time

Salary $1000 per month negotiable based on experience
