State of Ohio in Chillicothe, OH is seeking an experienced Professional Land Surveyor to oversee and manage complex survey projects at a permanent, full-time capacity. The role includes preparing legal descriptions and boundary/centerline plats for easements, sales, leases or transfers of land.

You will lead survey field crews, review and certify right-of-way plans and plats, and sign documents in your role as a licensed Professional Land Surveyor.

Formación

• Licensure: Current registration as professional surveyor under Ohio law; valid driver's license.
• 12 months of experience as Surveyor 2 or 12 months in responsible charge of survey projects.

Additional Information

This position is overtime eligible based onFLSA Standards.

All bargaining unit new hires must serve aone (1) year probationary period.

Position will be filled pursuant to theprovision of the OCSEA/AFSCME Contract.

The final candidate selected for thisposition will be required to undergo a criminal background check. An individualassessment of an applicant's prior criminal convictions will be made beforeexcluding an applicant from consideration.

Qualifications

Licensure: Current registration as professional surveyor pursuant to section 4733.02 of Ohio Revised Code valid driver's license. & Experience: 12 mos. exp. as Surveyor 2, 85562 OR 12 mos. exp. in responsible charge of survey projects.
