Job summary

Worley Group, Inc. is seeking a field- and office-based Surveyor to support engineering and construction projects in Wisconsin. You will perform ground surveys, establish baselines, and collect elevation data for maps and models.

The role requires at least 4 years of industrial construction/maintenance experience and NCCER certification. You will work with GPS, transits, levels, and reporting tools, coordinating with engineers and clients to ensure accurate, compliant survey data.

Position Summary

Responsible for providing data relevant to the shape, contour, gravitation, location, elevation, or dimension of land or land features on or near the earth's surface for engineering, mapmaking, mining, land evaluation, construction, or other purposes.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Plan and conduct ground survey designed to establish baselines, elevations, and other geodesic measurements
  • Determine coordinates and elevations using transits, levels, and satellite-based global positioning systems (GPS)
  • Verify accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites
  • Prepare and maintain sketches, maps, and reports to describe and certify work performed
  • Coordinate finding with the work of engineering and construction personnel, clients, and other concerned parties
  • Adjust surveying equipment to maintain their accuracy
  • Additional responsibilities not listed may be required
