This is an ideal role for a recent GIS or Civil Engineering graduate looking to build a career in field Utility Energy engineering. You will spend 50% of your time in the office managing high-detail digital maps and 50% in the field capturing data on critical infrastructure projects.
Working for a leading Utility Energy Consulting firm, you will support DOT initiatives focused on the rehabilitation and retrofit of bridges and roadways. You’ll be responsible for ensuring our "Digital Twin" of the natural gas network is accurate, traceable, and ready for real-time use by field crews.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, Civil Engineering, or a related technical field.
Experience: 0–2 years of experience (internships or course projects count!) using ArcGIS Pro
Mobility: Must possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record for frequent travel to project sites.
Field Readiness: Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and traversing construction sites or DOT right-of-ways.
Technical Aptitude: Ability to learn the Esri Utility Network framework and understand the physical components of a gas distribution system.
