Job summary

ROWE Professional Services Company is seeking Surveying Interns for our Michigan offices to gain hands-on experience with conventional surveying and LiDAR tools. Interns will work under supervision toward field data collection, layout, and reporting on diverse projects.

Applicants must be pursuing a degree in surveying or civil engineering, with strong communication and teamwork skills, and must be willing to work outdoors.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing an associates, bachelor’s or master’s degree in surveying, civil engineering or a related field.
• Prior experience with field surveying, AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation is a plus.
• Availability to work full-time during the internship.
• Ability to interact well with coworkers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent analytical/judgement capabilities.
• Ability to work independently or on a team.

POSITION SUMMARY

ROWE is currently looking for Surveying Interns for our Michigan offices. We have opportunities to work with conventional surveying and photogrammetry tools and software as well as stationary, mobile and UAV LiDAR systems and software. Interns will work under the supervision of a Project Surveyor, Crew Chief or Project Manager. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assist in field data collection and construction layout of various projects.
• Assist in completing various surveying tasks.
• Must be willing to work outdoors on project sites as needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
