ROWE Professional Services Company is seeking Surveying Interns for our Michigan offices as part of a 2027 summer internship program. Interns will work under the supervision of a Project Surveyor, Crew Chief or Project Manager on field data collection, construction layout, and surveying tasks with exposure to LiDAR systems.

Candidates pursuing an associates, bachelor’s or master’s degree in surveying or civil engineering, with strong communication skills and attention to detail, are encouraged

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing an associates, bachelor’s or master’s degree in surveying, civil engineering or a related field.
• Prior experience with field surveying, AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation is a plus.
• Availability to work full-time during the internship.
• Ability to interact well with coworkers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent analytical/judgement capabilities.
• Ability to work independently or on a team.

POSITION SUMMARY

ROWE is currently looking for Surveying Interns for our Michigan offices. We have opportunities to work with conventional surveying and photogrammetry tools and software as well as stationary, mobile and UAV LiDAR systems and software. Interns will work under the supervision of a Project Surveyor, Crew Chief or Project Manager. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assist in field data collection and construction layout of various projects.
• Assist in completing various surveying tasks.
• Must be willing to work outdoors on project sites as needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

We are seeking forward-thinking, safety-conscious, and energetic individuals who are excited to work on both small-scale and large-scale projects. Qualifications include:
