Job summary

Guidepoint is seeking a Survey Operations Automation Specialist to design team-wide automations for quantitative survey research, utilizing Python, VBA, and other tools. The role aligns with US Pacific time and can be hybrid from India offices or remote.

You will coordinate between IT/Engineering and project managers to improve workflows and data delivery across platforms. The right candidate has 4–8 years of automation experience in survey research, strong data formatting and dashboard skills

Qualifications

• 4-8 years managing automation projects for survey research clients
• Experience with VBA, Python, R for data formatting/transformations
• Experience with dashboarding software (DisplayR/PowerBI)
• Experience with survey design software (Qualtrics, Forsta/Decipher, Alchemer)
• Experience setting up API calls or using low-code tools (Power Automate, Zapier) to connect platforms

Responsibilities

• Design automations to reduce manual work in bidding, project management, data collection and analysis
• Collaborate with team leads to optimize workflows and tools
• Build project-specific automations and macros for data formatting/presentation
• Link systems to minimize manual data transfer across MS365, Qualtrics, Monday.com, DisplayR, etc.
• Maintain and support macros, integrations, and efficiency toolkits used by non-technical staff

You'll Survey Technology and Automation Specialist

(US Pacific Time) (India)

Overview:

Guidepoint's Market Research Team is seeking a Survey Operations Automation Specialist to help design team-wide and project-specific custom automations and processes for all stages of quantitative survey research projects. This position would be expected to work hours aligned with US-based colleagues on the West Coast.

This can be a hybrid position out of one of our offices in India (Mumbai, Pune, Delhi) or remote.

What Youll Do:

• Support a roadmap of automations to help reduce manual work involved in bidding/scoping, project management, setup, programming, data collection, QA, data processing, and data analysis for quantitative market research projects using Python, VBA, or other tools, including code-light or product-specific automation systems.
• Work with team leads and project managers to understand pain points and recommend ideal designs, tools, and processes to maximize workflow efficiency across the team
• Coordinate with project managers to design custom project-specific automations or macros to support client needs in data formatting or data presentation in Excel-based tables, PowerPoint files, or other data deliverable formats
• Assist in building connections between systems as necessary to minimize manual information transfer, including between MS365 products and Qualtrics, Monday.com, DisplayR, and other internal and external software and databases
• Assist in maintenance/support for existing or newly constructed macros, integrations, and efficiency toolkits that non-technical stakeholders on the market research team and other parts of the organization rely on
• Coordinate with Guidepoints internal IT and Engineering teams to ensure any internally built tools or systems comply with information security and software best practices
• Other duties as required

What You Have:

• 4-8 years managing automation projects for survey research clients, automating custom formatting and transformation of aggregated and raw data files (Excel, PPT) using VBA, Python, R, or other tools
• Experience with dashboarding software and services (DisplayR and/or PowerBI preferred) including setting up and displaying interactive dashboard visuals built off of survey data
• Experience with survey design software, such as Qualtrics (preferred), Forsta/Decipher, Alchemer, etc
• Experience setting up API calls or working with code-light automation tools (e.g. Microsoft Power Automate, Zapier) to connect and pass data and information between platforms and services
