Job summary

Primoris Engineering in Houston is seeking a seasoned Survey Technician to support multiple projects. You will process data, produce final land survey deliverables, and assist field staff using the latest Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center tools.

Responsibilities include QA/QC of plats and drawings, preparing survey plats and legal descriptions, coordinating with supervisors, and ensuring client specifications are met while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of field or office experience in route survey projects, boundary analysis, DTM projects, and construction layout and data processing.
• Strong computer and technical skills; AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center required
• Proficiency in technical math; Geometry and Trigonometry are a plus
• Familiarity with GIS platforms is a plus, however it is not necessary
• S.I.T. Certification is a plus however, it is not necessary
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task from project to project.
• Exceptional organization skills
• Works well in team environment with good communication skills both verbal and written.

Job description

Job Overview:

Primoris Engineering is seeking a Survey Technician to join our Houston Office to support several upcoming projects. Successful candidates will have experience with the latest Civil 3D software and Trimble Business Center.

As a Survey Technician, you will support office and field staff by processing incoming information and producing final land surveying project deliverables. You will perform technical tasks utilizing the latest technology in the A/E/C industry. You will help increase project efficiency and client satisfaction by:
