Control Point Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced Survey Technician in Warren, NJ. This role focuses on survey computations, boundary analysis, and technical plan development, not field work or entry-level CAD drafting.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of surveying experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• LSIT preferred or equivalent.
• Strong math skills.
• Proven ability to produce clean plan presentations.
• Familiar with field survey operations and construction industry.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Word and Excel.
• Capable of meeting project deadlines within budget.
• Self-starter and team player.

Responsibilities

• Deed and reference map plotting.
• Prepare and set up survey data for field crews.
• Post survey data analysis and conversions as needed.
• Construction layout calculations, as-built surveys, and sketches.
• Grade sheet preparation and ALTA/NSPS land title survey prep.
• Topographic analysis and FEMA elevation certificate prep.
• Prepare subdivision plans and lot consolidation plans.
• Oversee CAD Drafters and review plans for accuracy.
• Collaborate with Assistant Project Managers and Project Managers.
• Map creation from field data collector files and reference maps.
• Accountable for plan presentation and traverse adjustments.
