Job summary

Petroleum Field Services, LLC seeks a Survey Technician to execute tasks creating survey deliverables and advise project teams on survey solutions. The role collaborates with PLS, survey team, PMs, engineering, and field crews to process field data and drafts using Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center.

You will work with Terrestrial and aerial point clouds, coordinate systems, and produce Field Packs, ALTA deliverables, and legal descriptions, with QA/QC responsibilities and occasional

Qualifications

• 1–3 years survey/drafting experience.
• Proficiency with Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center.
• Strong knowledge of Coordinate Systems and Metes & Bounds.
• Experience with ALTA, plats, and legal descriptions is a plus.
• Familiarity with GIS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process field data with Trimble Business Center.
• Create Survey Field Packs.
• Draft Survey Plats and Legal Descriptions for PLS Review.
• Draft topographic survey deliverables and ALTA deliverables.
• Read and draft previously recorded documents.
• Draft Alignment Sheets.
• Assist PMs, Sr. PMs, and PLS with tasks.
• Attend screen shares and client calls to aid planning and design.
