Job summary

Petroleum Field Services, LLC is seeking a Survey Technician to execute technical tasks for survey deliverables and support project teams with survey solutions. You will work with PLS, survey team, project managers, engineering, and field crews to meet project goals using conventional survey methods, GPS, and data from LiDAR/photogrammetry datasets.

You will draft field packs, plats, ALTA deliverables, and legal descriptions, while assisting with QA/QC and coordination of field activities.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years survey/drafting experience.
• Proficiency with Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center.
• Familiarity with ALTA deliverables and legal descriptions.
• Knowledge of coordinate systems and GIS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process field data with Trimble Business Center and draft deliverables.
• Create Survey Field Packs and compile field documentation.
• Draft Survey Plats, Legal Descriptions, topographic and ALTA deliverables.
• Assist PMs, Sr. PMs, and PLS with various tasks as needed.
• Attend client calls to support planning and design.
