Timmons Group is seeking a Survey Technician/Senior Survey Technician for our Virginia Beach, VA office. The role supports the Survey Group with land surveying projects, preparing plats, staking maps, and topographic surveys.

Requirements include a related degree or 3+ years of field surveying experience, strong reading and interpretation skills, and proficiency with math concepts like trigonometry and geometry. Office and field duties are involved within a dynamic team.

Qualificações

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents such as safety rules and submittal requirements.
• Ability to read deed descriptions, title reports, and survey plats.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions.
• Ability to work with trigonometry and geometry.

Responsabilidades

• Drafts subdivision plats, boundary surveys and easement plats.
• Prepares parcel descriptions.
• Prepares staking maps for subdivisions, infrastructure improvements and site plans.
• Prepares cutsheets and construction take-offs.
• Drafts topographical surveys and creates digital terrain models.
• Submits plats for jurisdictional approval.
• May substitute in the field when necessary.
