Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Survey Technician to join our team in Charlotte, NC.

You will assist Professional Surveyors with CAD production, survey research, boundary analysis, exhibit preparation, legal description preparation, and survey computations. Ideal candidates bring strong communication skills, proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, and Microsoft Office, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in surveying or related field.
• SIT or CST certification or ability to become Professional Surveyor.
• Experience drafting Wind, Solar, and Power Delivery projects.

Responsibilities

• Assisting Professional Surveyors with CAD production, survey research, boundary analysis, exhibit preparation, legal description preparation, and survey computations
• Processing raw field data through Trimble Business Center and Civil 3D
• Perform QA/QC checks
• Coordinate and work with field crews and other office staff
• Ensure division, regional, and company values, policies and practices are followed
• Lead by example – display solid judgment, values, trust, honesty, openness, and professionalism
