Job summary

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Survey Technician to join our team in Raleigh, NC. This role supports Professional Surveyors with CAD production, survey research, boundary analysis, exhibit preparation, and preparation of legal descriptions and survey computations.

You will process field data with Trimble Business Center and Civil 3D, perform QA/QC checks, and coordinate with field crews and office staff while upholding our values and high standards.

Qualifications

• Strong listening, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of ALTA surveys, boundary analysis, topographic surveys, exhibits and legal descriptions.
• Ability to operate AutoCAD Civil 3D for production activities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, support project coordination, and interact with other design services.
• Full use of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist Professional Surveyors with CAD production, survey research, boundary analysis, exhibits, and legal descriptions.
• Process raw field data through Trimble Business Center and Civil 3D
• Perform QA/QC checks
• Coordinate and work with field crews and other office staff
• Ensures division, regional, and company values, policies and practices are followed
• Lead by example – display solid judgment, values, trust, honesty, openness, and professionalism
