Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of surveying experience.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D, MicroStation, CAD and GIS applications.
• Experience with GPS technology and data collection methods.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.
• Experience with oil & gas, transportation, or utility corridor projects is preferred.
• Familiarity with coastal and wetland surveying regulations in Louisiana.

Responsibilities

• Generate point files and earthwork models from CAD platforms and Agtek 4D in a fast-paced work environment.
• Collect and analyze data related to land features, boundaries, and elevations.
• Utilize GIS technology for data collection and analysis of geographical information.
• Perform calculations using algebra and other mathematical principles to determine land measurements.
• Prepare detailed survey reports and maps using software like Civil 3D and MicroStation.
• Understand and use established company standards for design.
• Assist in preparation of reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance with local regulations and standards.
• Maintain accurate records of surveys, including field notes and sketches.
