Exacta provides services in Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Virginia, New Jersey, Florida, and Texas. Our services include residential, commercial, construction, and ALTA/NSPS surveys, with a commitment to accurate and timely delivery. Our surveys are crucial for real estate transactions involving buyers, sellers, title companies, lenders, attorneys, and agents.

Position Overview:

Under supervision, the Survey Scout discovers property corner monuments and performs reconnaissance for survey crews, using tools like magnetic locators and shovels. The role involves traveling between sites, understanding legal survey documents, and progressing through a training program to become a Survey Field Crew Chief. The work is outdoors year-round, requiring physical ability to lift weights and move in various positions.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, with some weekends during peak seasons. Work begins from home, with travel via company vehicle.

Location:

Remote work in Columbus, Ohio, and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities:

• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Maintain survey equipment and vehicles.
• Remove debris and obstacles at work sites.
• Work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Adhere to company policies and safety standards.
• Provide courteous customer service.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Willingness to learn land surveying principles.
• Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively.
