Survey Project Manager / Professional Surveyor

Overview

As a Professional Land Surveyor at Civil & Environmental Consultants Inc. (CEC), you will assist with conventional surveying and reality capture projects. You will collaborate with project consultants and skilled field staff in a team-oriented environment. Our projects span renewable energy, utility, commercial, retail developments, health, and educational facilities. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of land surveying experience. You will utilize your expertise to build surfaces from conventional and reality capture data obtained from UAV flights and scanning equipment, and create ALTA / NSPS Land Title, Boundary, and Topographic Surveys to contribute to project success.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of professional surveying experience
• Indiana Professional Land Surveyor license or the ability to obtain licensure within one year
• Civil 3D experience required
• Knowledge of Trimble instruments and current survey field procedures
• Valid driver's license required
• Understanding of technological advances, principles, techniques, and practices of land surveying
• Experience in survey project management, including proposal preparation, project budget tracking, and billing review
• Professional speaking and writing skills
• Ability to mentor and guide staff in survey practices
• Ability to support the growth of the survey practice through marketing and networking
