Responsibilities

• Tech & Quality Champion: Be the final word on technical excellence. You\'ll ensure our work is top-tier by running Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC), setting the gold standard for office and field procedures.
• Mentor & Team Builder: Help our talented staff grow their careers through hands-on mentoring and training. You\'ll also be key in recruiting the next generation of all-star surveyors.
• Project Leadership: Take the reins on exciting projects from start to finish. This includes crafting proposals, keeping project budgets on track, and managing the finances.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional surveying experience;
• Professional Land Surveyor registration (PLS) or ability to obtain licensure with having S.I.T.;
• Knowledge of technological advances, principles, techniques and practices of land surveying;
• Experience with survey project management; including preparation of proposals, tracking project budgets, and billing review;
• Ability to speak and write professionally;
• Ability to provide guidance and mentoring to staff in the survey practice;
• Ability to assist in growth of survey practice using marketing and networking techniques
• Ability to bring in new clients and build industry related contacts
