Bolton & Menk, Inc. in Oakdale, MN is seeking a Survey Project Manager to lead the planning, scheduling and execution of multiple survey projects and teams.

You will apply surveying principles to review field measurements, prepare documents, and direct field surveys for supervisory and quality control purposes across boundary, ALTA, ROW, CIC, easements, topo, and construction staking projects. Travel is required.

Qualifications

• A.S. or B.S. degree from an accredited college or university.
• Professional Land Surveyor license.
• Experience with surveying equipment and software (Trimble, AutoCAD Civil3D).
• Strong self-motivation and ability to apply engineering knowledge.
• Ability to develop relationships with clients and staff from agencies.
• Excellent time management and communication skills.
• Advanced math skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license; MVR check required.
• Willingness to travel.

Overview

Bolton & Menk has a great opportunity for a Survey Project Manager to join our Oakdale team.

Responsibilities

As a Survey Project Manager you will be responsible for the management, planning, scheduling and performance of multiple survey projects and personnel. You will apply sound survey principles to plan, evaluate, and complete survey projects, review field measurements, direct and assist with preparation of survey documents, and perform and direct field surveys for professional supervisory and quality control purposes. Projects include boundary surveys, ALTA surveys, right of way plats, CIC plats, easements, topographic surveys, and construction staking.

Qualifications

• A.S. or B.S. degree from an accredited college or university
• Professional Land Surveyor license
• Working knowledge of surveying equipment and software (Trimble, AutoCAD Civil3D)
• High capacity for self‑motivation and ability to apply engineering knowledge to a variety of projects
• Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and staff from various agencies
• Excellent time management, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced math skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Valid driver’s license and insurability at the firm’s standard rates. MVR check is a standard condition of employment
• Some travel will be required

Salary Range: $52,000–$110,000 depending on years of experience and credentials
