As a Surveyor at Kiewit, you will play an integral role in ensuring the success of large-scale civil infrastructure projects. With a strong focus on safety, precision, and efficiency, you will manage survey operations critical to the layout and control of construction activities. This hands-on role requires expertise in surveying technologies such as Trimble systems, GPS, and total stations, along with the ability to perform complex calculations for layout, volume, and material estimations. You will be responsible for conducting site investigations, verifying boundaries, tracking project progress, and ensuring compliance with design specifications. The ideal candidate will have a background in construction surveying, with a strong understanding of FAA regulations and experience using CAD software. You must be adaptable, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced field environments. A commitment to leadership, safety, and quality is essential to succeed in this role.
Kiewit's South-Central District is one of Kiewit's leading infrastructure districts specializing in heavy civil, transportation, and water resource markets. Projects you could be working on could include mass grading, drainage, paving, utility and more. Although most of our work is regionally based in the south-central region of the United States, we also pursue various projects stretching across the United States. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about infrastructure and committed to the construction industry as opposed to design.
All roles are project-based and will require mobility for the duration of assignments within the South-Central District, including Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Arkansas
