Duties & Responsibilities

• Experience: 4+ years overall survey experience, including survey party chief experience. Required experience in ALTA, topographic, and construction surveys. TXDOT survey and SUE experience are a plus.
• Skills: Knowledge of field equipment operation, communication, field note-taking, good math skills, ability to work independently, and willingness to travel nationally.
• Duties: Supervise survey crew, maintain field notes, communicate with office staff, train subordinates, operate robotic instruments, total stations, data collectors, GPS (static, RTK, VRS), autolevel, and download data nightly.
• Other: Valid driver's license, strong work ethic, willingness to travel up to 12 days, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and work more than 40 hours as needed. Per diem provided for travel.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 4-8 years of relevant experience.
• Pre-employment drug screening and background checks may be required.

Performance Expectations

• Participate in cross-training and team-building activities.
• Communicate workflow needs and follow all policies and procedures.
• Accurately complete and submit daily forms, time sheets, and expense reports.
• Maintain safety standards and follow OSHA and company policies.
• Review work for accuracy, inspect own work, and perform tasks per industry standards.
• Maintain certifications and participate in training.
• Work collaboratively to maximize productivity and accuracy.
