Job summary

A leading land surveying company in New Brighton, MN is seeking a Survey Office Technician to create various types of survey drawings. The ideal candidate will have experience with ALTA/NSPS surveys and Civil 3D software. This full-time entry-level role offers competitive salary and benefits including medical and dental plans, and 401(k). Remote applicants will also be considered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of related experience.
• Applicant must have a valid driver’s license.
• MVR check along with drug screening is a standard condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Process field data and perform adjustments as needed.
• Produce drawings with Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Prepare survey calculations.

Office Location:New Brighton, MN (Remote applicants will be considered)

Egan, Field & Nowak, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Survey Office Technician to prepare various types of survey drawings to ensure adherence to established company specifications and standards. Candidate must be proficient in preparing ALTA/NSPS Land Title surveys, boundary surveys, topographic surveys, and right of way surveys for a diverse group of private and energy sector clients. We are currently utilizing Civil 3D, Pix 4D, StarNet and Trimble Business Center software packages for drafting/mapping, adjustments and data processing.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• Associate degree or higher in surveying technology/geomatics, civil engineering, or related field.
• Knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Minimum of two years of related experience.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Applicant must have a valid driver’s license.
• A motor vehicle record (MVR) check along with drug screening is a standard condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Process field data and perform adjustments as needed.
• Produce drawings with Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Prepare survey calculations.
• Perform research as it relates to boundaries, rights-of-way, utilities and project control.
