Job summary

Centerline Technical Services is expanding its Survey & Geospatial team and is seeking motivated individuals to join our growing operations. The Survey & Mapping Technician I/II will support a variety of surveying, mapping, GIS, and data processing projects for clients across the energy, utilities, engineering, construction, and infrastructure industries.

This remote or hybrid position provides an opportunity to work with surveying and mapping technologies while developing practical experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training.
• Ability to learn new software and technology.
• Attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Willingness to work in remote or hybrid environment.
• Preferred: degree or coursework in surveying, geomatics, GIS, civil engineering, or related field.
• Experience with surveying workflows and data processing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process, organize, and maintain survey, mapping, GIS, and field data for active projects.
• Download, organize, and transfer field data for processing and deliverables.
• Assist with processing survey and mapping data using applicable software and workflows.
• Prepare maps, exhibits, drawings, figures, and other deliverables.
• Assist with CAD drafting and plan production.
• Review data for completeness, accuracy, and consistency.
• Maintain accurate project files, records, metadata, and documentation.
• Support preparation of right-of-way, topographic, construction, utility deliverables.
