Qualifications

  • Prior experience in heavy civil, transportation, bridge, or infrastructure projects.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with good computer proficiency.

Job Description:

A growing infrastructure‑focused organization is seeking a Survey Manager to oversee field survey operations while remaining actively involved in project execution. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing leadership responsibilities with hands‑on technical work in the field.

The Survey Manager will coordinate survey activities for active construction projects, support field personnel, and ensure all layout and measurement activities are completed accurately and efficiently. The position requires a strong operational mindset, the ability to solve problems in real time, and the confidence to lead crews in dynamic jobsite environments.

This individual will spend the majority of their time supporting field operations while also managing planning, scheduling, and team coordination responsibilities.

  • Strong understanding of construction surveying principles, field layout processes, and geometry control methodologies

  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate crews, coordinate field activities, and operate independently with minimal oversight
  • Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions in fast‑paced field environments
