Job summary

Sundt Construction, a 100% employee-owned contractor, seeks a survey/field technician to support daily survey tasks on construction sites in Charleston, SC. You will operate GPS and survey instruments, assist the Party Chief, and maintain project documents.

Ideal candidates have basic plan-reading skills, team work mindset, and pursuing NICET certification with 2 years of survey experience. Safety gear and on-site duties are involved.

Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively and work well in a team.
• Pursuing NICET certification with 2 years survey/layout experience.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand plans (blueprints).
• Operate GPS, total station, level, and related survey equipment.
• Perform basic survey calculations to assist the Party Chief.
• Keep construction documents up to date.
