The Provo City Engineering Division is seeking a Survey Intern to support a high-performing survey team. This part-time role offers hands-on experience mapping surveys and checking subdivision plats, with a 25-hour schedule and a pay range of $15.00–$20.00 per hour.
Qualified students in Civil Engineering or Surveying fields will gain practical exposure while assisting the team. The schedule runs 15–25 hours weekly during the school year and up to 40 hours in summer.

The Provo City Engineering Division is recruiting for a Survey Intern position. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience working with a high-performing municipal survey team. Part-time Provo City employees are eligible to contribute to individual retirement savings plans through the City (401k, 457, Roth IRA, and/or Traditional IRA) and receive the following great benefits:
15-25 hours per week during the school year, up to 40 hours per week during the summer, Monday through Thursday between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
Requires working on a computer for extended periods of time. May involve exposure to high-stress situations or environments, including contact with the public in confrontational or uncomfortable circumstances.
Applications will be reviewed in the order they are submitted, with the first screening being held on September 2, 2026. If selected for hire, candidate will be required to successfully pass a drug screen and criminal background check. Non-disclosure may result in dismissal. Applicants with unsatisfactory drug screen results will be ineligible for appointment or application to any Provo City position for a minimum period of six (6) months.
