Job summary

The Provo City Engineering Division is seeking a Survey Intern to support the municipal survey team. This part-time position offers hands-on experience with field and office work, using AutoCAD Civil 3D to map surveys and check subdivision plats.

Applicants must be bona fide students in Civil Engineering or surveying programs and hold a valid driver's license. Hours are 15-25 per week during the school year, up to 40 in summer.

Qualifications

• Enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student in Civil Engineering, Surveying, or a closely related field.
• Valid driver's license at time of appointment.

Responsibilities

• Complete projects for the Engineering Division/Survey Team as directed.
• Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to map surveys.
• Check subdivision plats.
• Assist survey crew and other department employees as needed.
• Perform other related duties as required.
