Job summary

Olsson in Kansas City is seeking a Summer 2027 Intern on the Survey team to gain hands-on, real-world experience supporting field surveys and project delivery. You will work closely with experienced surveyors on meaningful client projects and travel to job sites across stages of construction.

You will assist with topographic and boundary surveys, ALTA/NSPS surveys, and construction staking, gaining exposure to field operations in varying terrain and weather.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in land surveying, construction management, civil engineering technology, or related field.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving history.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work safely and maintain alertness on varying terrains.

Responsibilities

• Assist with fieldwork including topographic and boundary surveys, ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, and construction staking.
• Travel to job sites and work in all types of terrain and weather conditions.
