Job summary

LPU Batangas is seeking an entry-level engineering/ science intern to support field data collection and topographic surveying on-site in College Station, TX. You will participate in data gathering, measurements, sketches, and photography for project development.

Under supervision, you will attend project meetings and learn CAD and GIS tools while working within budget parameters. A valid driver’s license is required, and training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a college Engineering or Science program.
• No previous experience required; this is an entry-level position.
• Preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Experience with ArcGIS, CADD, and Microsoft Office preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits to gather data, including measurements, sketches, notes, and photographs.
• Process field data and draft base plans for project use and reference.
• Prepare topographic survey plots to support project development and planning.
• Attend bi-weekly or more frequent meetings with project teams to discuss progress and address issues.
• Operate within specified corporate or project budget parameters.
• Complete other duties as required or assigned.
