Job summary

Stahly Engineering & Associates is seeking a Survey Intern to assist field data collection and stakeout operations. You will work closely with licensed PLS professionals or LSIs to learn proper equipment handling and data processing.

The role requires willingness to travel to project sites (often up to a week away) and a drive for hands‑on training in geomatics and surveying practices, with mentorship provided.

Qualifications

• Twelve credits of classroom/lab survey related education or training is preferred.
• Prior field surveying experience is preferred but not required.
• Current valid driver’s license is required; ability to operate a four-wheeler or UTV is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist survey staff with field data collection and stakeout.
• Learn field procedures such as setup of measuring equipment and data collection.
• Process and transmittal of data deliverables with standard codes and QC techniques.
• Utilize computer drafting and analysis software to assist in projects.
• Assist in data analysis, calculations, and post processing.
