Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an engineering, surveying technology, geomatics, or related program.
• Strong desire to learn and ability to work in a team.
• Good oral and written communication skills, attention to detail.
• Dependable and responsible with a positive attitude.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying field conditions.

Responsibilities

• Learn boundary and topographic land surveying concepts.
• Collaborate with field and office personnel on projects.
• Participate in field activities to learn GPS, total station, and leveling techniques.
• Observe safety procedures and use PPE as required.
• Read deeds, easements, and subdivision plats to support field surveys.
• Assist in using plans to generate field points and cutsheets.
• Gain understanding of different utility types and field markers.
