Job summary

The Kleingers Group in Louisville, KY seeks a licensed Professional Surveyor to lead the Survey Group and manage production for multiple projects. Responsibilities include budgeting, scheduling, and client coordination.

The role requires a KY Professional Land Survey license and several years of leadership experience. The position emphasizes QA/QC, technical guidance, and cross-functional collaboration with other service lines while maintaining high professional standards and adherence to

Qualifications

• Current Professional Kentucky Survey License.
• Minimum 5 consecutive years surveying experience including 2 years leading production and coordinating technical activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional technical support to the group and project team members.
• Supervise the group: training, setting goals, and accountability.
• Keep team engaged and focus on retention of staff.
• Stay updated on legislative, technical and professional topics affecting the survey group.
• Communicate regularly with Department Director.
• Plan and analyze projects; oversee scheduling and budgeting.
• Serve as primary client contact and project manager when needed.
• Assist Business Development with presentations and client engagements.
• Build external image through industry organizations and networking.
• Promote internal service lines to clients including engineering, landscaping, and transportation design.
• Review, sign and seal survey plats or reports as required by law.
• QA/QC of all group work products.
• Meet or exceed financial and performance metrics for the group.
• Provide recommendations to improve production processes.
