Job summary

Legacy Engineering, P.C in Fredericksburg, Virginia, seeks a proactive Survey Field Technician to support field crews on land development projects. You will assist Survey Party Chiefs, operate robots, drones, and GPS, and help read and interpret plans in outdoor conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist and work with Survey Party Chiefs in the field
• Become familiar with Survey grade instruments such as robots, drones and GPS
• Reading maps, following directions, and interpreting engineering and construction plans
• Observing and documenting field activities
• Other duties may be assigned

Skills, Knowledge, Expertise

• No experience necessary.

The compensation range for this position is $18 to $20 /hourly, commensurate with experience, education and certifications. The provided range is a good faith estimate based on the requirements described within the job description.
