Job summary

Verdantas LLC in Maine is hiring a field surveyor to support land feature mapping and topographic data collection. You will operate survey instruments, record data accurately, and help prepare surveys, maps, and drawings for project teams.

Qualifications

• Experience performing field surveying and data collection.
• Familiar with survey instruments and safety standards.
• Ability to document data accurately for reports.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field surveys to collect data on land features, boundaries, and topography
• Operate and maintain survey equipment such as total stations, GPS units, and levels
• Assist in the setup and calibration of survey instruments
• Record and document survey data accurately and efficiently
• Assist in the preparation of survey reports, maps, and drawings
• Ensure compliance with survey standards and project specifications
• Communicate findings and observations to the Survey Crew Chief/Lead Surveyor
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures during fieldwork
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Survey Crew Chief/Lead Surveyor

Salary Range: $24.00 - $26.00
