Responsibilities

• Process Oversight: Ensure QA/QC standards across every phase of surveying from initial boundary control to site benchmarks for construction layout and final as-built surveys.
• Communication and Collaboration: Work directly with field crews and/or assigned Project Manager to resolve discrepancies in field data.
• Standard Compliance: Assist with review to ensure guidelines, client specifications, and company quality standards are met.
• Documentation: Ensure documentation for field work performed is complete and saved according to company standards prior to project closeout.

Schneider Geomatics is seeking a detail-oriented Survey Field QA/QC Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be the final line of defense for data integrity, ensuring all land surveying operations and raw field data meet client specifications and company standards. You will bridge the gap between our field and office teams, maintaining the highest quality standards across all project phases.

The Survey Field QA/QC Coordinator is a technical professional responsible for verifying the accuracy, completeness, and company standards of land surveying data and field operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Verification: Review raw field survey data, point files, notes, and sketches to ensure mathematical closures and adherence to project tolerances.
• Process Oversight: Ensure quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) standards have been met across every phase of surveying which may include initial boundary control and site benchmarks for construction layout and final as-built surveys.
• Communication and Collaboration: Work directly with field crews and/or assigned Project Manager to quickly resolve any discrepancies in field data.
• Standard Compliance: Under the guidance of the Project Manager, assist with review to ensure guidelines, client specifications, and company quality standards are met.
• Documentation: Ensure documentation for field work performed is complete and saved according to company standards prior to project closeout.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive experience in land surveying, with fieldwork experience and a strong focus on processing field data.
• Technical Skills: High proficiency with industry-standard software such as Trimble Business Center (TBC). Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, preferred.
• Survey Knowledge: Deep understanding of boundary principles, coordinate systems, GPS/GNSS post-processing, and construction staking tolerances.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong communication abilities.
